Katty Kauffman is a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) and of the Chilean Association of Translators and Interpreters, among other professional affiliations. She is certified by the State of Florida and at the federal level for work in court and legal settings.

She is the founder and Senior Interpreter at Katty Kauffman and Associates, with offices in Washington, DC and Santiago, Chile. Clients include domestic and foreign corporations, business and political leaders, public policy institutes, and non-profit organizations. A graduate of Pedro de Valdivia University’s School of Law in Santiago, Chile with advanced legal training at American University in Washington, DC, she specializes in legal and court interpretation as well as high-level international conferences and summits.
